My dreads are now eleven weeks old (nearly three months!) and coming along perfectly.
I am pulling the ends in, having finally decided on blunting the tips.
I like the blunted look better than loose tips.
I’m losing a lot of length as I do this but, meh, it’ll grow back and will look better when I start gaining the length back again.
I’ve added a few beads and will put in some wraps when I’ve finished working them.
Dread deco is another bonus of having dreads, there are some really cool beads and wraps out there.
It’s great to see most of them starting to really lock up, they actually feel like dreads now, with the solid feel to them.
All my hard work has paid off and the level of maintenance is really starting to drop off now.
I am done with wax, so not doing much rolling, only rolling the occasional one that needs a little help.
Most of my maintenance now consists of clockwise rubbing the roots that need more knots.
They’ve locked up a lot quicker than I thought, I’m just two weeks out from the three month mark, and very happy with progress.
