Ostara is such a beautiful time of year.

The Goddess draped in her cloak of flowers.

The earth is lush, fresh and fertile.

In my patch of the world, green and yellow dominate the landscape.

Fields of golden-yellow canola sit side by side with green crops of wheat.

It’s a wonderful time to slowly drive the back-roads, just taking the time to admire the vista.

Stepping outside, you can smell the flowers, the pollen in the air.

Bees are busy in the garden, which is in full bloom, bursting with sprays of color.

The days are now nice enough to be able to sit in the sun and soak up the rays.

I love my backyard in the Spring, just being in the sun, pottering around in my garden enjoying the beautiful weather.

The God and Goddess are young and in love, looking upon each other with longing.

We can feel their desire all around us, in the warming sun and the quickening earth.

Ostara is a time for putting into action plans made during winter.

To nurture and watch them grow and develop.

My plans are coming along just nicely and the budding earth is an everyday inspiration.

Here are some photos I took today while out enjoying the day.
